GraL, or Graphical Loading, embodies innovation in continuity with the past.
GraL is the bay terminal that constitutes the single interface between the driver, bay instrumentation, and Terminal Automation System (TAS). The driver will be able to control all bay loading operations through its large colour display and capacitive functional numeric keypad.
Loading directives from the TAS, commands, field I/O control, diagnostics, and finalisation of end-load data are managed by GraL, eliminating the need to individually consult the different flow computers of loading arms.
Flow computers, GraL, and TAS communicate on the same field LAN thus simplifying operations and connections engineering.
01 . High-brightness colour 15” LCD.
02 . Reliable interface to guide the operator quickly and easily through tanker loading procedures.
03 . Configuration, diagnostic and test functions are available to authorised operators through the same graphic interface. These functions make it possible to easily maintain the terminal and loading bay.
04 . Simultaneous load control for up to 6 loading arms.
05 . Additive, mixing, denaturing, and blending control.
06 . Management of earthing and/or anti-overflow devices, tanker presence, and emergency signals.
07 . I/O management for bay logics.
08 . Proximity badge reader and capacitive keyboard (devices without mechanical parts).
09 . Interface to flow computers and third-party supplier instrumentation.
10 . IP65 enclosure.
11 . Exd IIB ATEX protection mode.
GraL, in its first version, extends all the functionalities of the IBIS automation terminals with a modern, easily expandable, and adaptable technological architecture.
Thanks to its hardware architecture, GraL guarantees great expandability: additive processing, denaturation, mixing, pump control, etc.
GraL allows drivers to control all loading operations in the bay through its colour display and keyboard, eliminating the need to consult different flow computers. The display consistently shows data on required quantities, dispensed quantities, individual presets, and error messages/operator guidance. The graphic interface simplifies and accelerates loading, calibration, and diagnostics.
Although it is capable of operating autonomously, GraL is an integral part of the LOGINET (NUOVO PETROL) Load and Shipping Automation System and it is also designed to connect with other suppliers’ automation systems.
