The Booking Terminal is the sole interface for drivers during the booking phase. It identifies drivers through badges (proximity or magnetic) or fingerprint readings. It also displays and confirms the load plan, and prints the booking receipt.
In automatic mode, the terminal identifies the driver and then searches the associated loading voucher. If the loading voucher is unavailable or the bays are not ready for loading, the system displays messages with instructions for the driver, such as requesting them to return at a specific time or to go to the shipping office.
The booking terminal can also request the driver to insert the vehicle badge, if applicable, to verify the correct driver-vehicle association. The terminal internal screen and the external display (optional) can also display the loading order and calls.
The screens can also display special messages or alerts for drivers, such as those set by depot operators.
